Time Waits For No One-The Jacksons

Just revisiting this song it has to be one of the best songs the Jacksons ever recorded. The melody is so beautiful and the vocals are some of their best. The song should've been alittle longer imo-just a beautiful song. Opinions?

I'm surprised some of these so-called r&b artist haven't tried to redo this song.

It wouldn't work in this climate IMO. I can't even imagine someone trying to cover this in 2011

The Jacksons were on such a different plateau, I can't see anyone covering it either.

This is my favourite song on the Triumph album. It's beautiful and so haunting, still 30 years on.

Not bad. But I like a lot of songs much more:
Can You Feel It
Lovely One
Everybody
This Place Hotel
Walk Right Now

cool

In general, this is one of my least favorite songs on the Triumph, but it still pleases me.
I recently discovered this album and although I have much more fun solo creativity MJ (especially 1987-1997), I really like it. smile

Glad you bought it, I got it sometime after the MSG shows though I had known Can You Feel It and Heartbreak Hotel already for years.

nod Just one of those songs, unless you want to make an ass out of yourself , its best not to try to cover. lol

I think the video should be posted. wink

Let me say this....

The arrangement /music for this song is 100% perfect: strings, bass, classical guitar, and harp. cloud9

I always thought the unreleased outtake "Slipped Away" was an early demo to this song. But I have no idea. Maybe not. Just another song that might have been similar.
