Musically and lyrically superb track. I've always thought that Prince ripped this off with Circle Of Amoure.

Anyone else see the similarity's? she even reminds me of Andy Allo lol

I recently stumbled across this song and fell in LOVE with it...! Up until then I had never even heard of Janis Ian but this song/vocals are simply mesmerizing!

Definitely sounds like 'Circle Of Amoure' funk music

Yeah I discovered this a couple months ago. It was on a late night infomercial and I had to favorite it on youtube. I like looking at people's first live version and then watch the one from 30 years later, it's cool.
