Billy Joel should do standup. He has me LOL. Seriously, I've listened to the Interview disc on his Sourviner box set, and listened to him doing "Question and Answers" on the last disc of his box set, plus seen him on interviews and he is funny. He has such a personality. I love just listening to him talk. He is worldly, funny, and so talented (duh.). I just wish he wasn't so low-key these days. He has the talent of like 10 musicians mixed into one.
Go here and watch this video to get an idea of what I'm talking about in terms of his personality. He blends it all so seamlessly, his talent with his sense of humor.

He has a really cool place where he showcases his motorycles in Oyster Bay NY. Not too many guys stay friends with their ex-wives.
He's actually doing a Q&A at Cornell University in a few weeks. Only students are able to go, and they had to a lottery program.
I just think over the years, and going back to when he played the piano bar in LA, he developed a rapport with the audience. I'm sure he's on Long Island the same reason Prince stayed in the Minneapolis area.
