saw them 4 my 1st Jovi gig at the RUMBA festival in melbourne in December 2002...waited on my feet 14 hours (outside stadium & during the crap acts on b4 them)
for a 50min set & was all so worth it!
ended up being 3rd person crushed from the front barrier.
just an incredible experience.hope they do a full Aussie tour this year.

I really like Bon Jovi, although I'm not too keen on Bounce. Slippery When Wet is one of my all-time favorite albums.

yeah they dont let rip like they used 2 on albums.
tho CRUSH got me in2 the band...actually it was seeing a charity gig on TV that they did in melbourne,same arena i saw them in last year.
this gig was early 2001 i think.
hearing the hits i hadnt heard on radio yet made me gfo out & get Crossroads.

Keep The Faith is just raw & kick ass,plus Jon's voice in those days was WILD!
the actual songs on BOUNCE & Crush r excellent...its just waaay 2 over produced.
they should strip it down & just record the band live in studio.
they're better off without programming & every little thing being just so'.

all the same they still rock

Fresh video!! I loved them...even though I didn't own their album I got my fix off of Friday Night Videos and MTV. Looking back now, I would buy one of their albums, just to reminisce. I would also buy Guns and Roses just for the heck of it.

I love the 'Slippery When Wet' album! As someone pointed out,"Wanted Dead Or Alive" is a classic.But this is the only album I own by them.I'd like to find a good Greatest Hits CD from Bon Jovi,any suggestions?

I can't stand Bon Jovi and their good 'ol boy brand of rock music. Even when i was heavily into rock music back in the late '80s i never warmed to them. They're just too darn cheesy and sincere. Maybe i shouldn't be so hard on them, at least they're real players, definitely not my scene though.
