Truly sad news. I just saw him recently on a episode of "Law & Order" too. Way too young to pass.

He was on "Bones" not too long ago playing the bartender. From what I read, definitely one of the hardest-working entertainers doing it. RIP

Hev's verse here still hits home. Still the pinnacle of hip-hop in my eyes…
Aiyo, here's the situation: idiocy Nonsense, violence, not a good policy Therefore, we must ignore fightin' and fussin' Hev is at the door so there'll be no bum-rushin' Let's get together 'cause we're falling apart I heard a brother shot another, it broke my heart I don't understand the difficulty, people Love your brother, treat him as an equal They call us animals I don't agree with them I'll prove 'em wrong But right is what you're provin' 'em Take heed before I lead to what I'm sayin' Or we'll all be on our knees, prayin' "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

What the hell happened?!! I just saw him in an interview on cable last week (I don't know how old the interview was) and he seemed to be doing well with weight loss and living healthier! The man was younger than me. I so sorry to hear this. RIP Heavy D. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

I knew when I saw his name on the Yahoo trending most searched things, I went, "Oh, damnit. Please don't be dead." And then I clicked and saw the headline that he died and was like, "Damnit!!"
This makes me sad. Another one of the people who were always on the radio during my childhood. (I'm a 90s kid damnit!) Hope the police find out what the reason of death was.
I swear if Mr. Cooper or Jaleel White passes away next, I'm gonna be one unhappy 90s kid!

Wait.. we still don't know the cause of death do we? It could have been some recent bout with pneumonia for all we know...or some strange case of food poisoining or an anneurism (sp). I mean he was apparently just arriving home judging by the OP link. Just crazy to fall out like that at aged 44 when days/weeks earlier you appeared to be in good health. As far as I know, he had no history with drug/alchohol abuse right? I don't even think he was that heavy. I mean given his appearance on the BET awards, he is not what I would consider obese/overweight to the point of it being a health concern. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
