Don't call me young for defending Latoya. I'm not even a big supporter and think the family is fucked up, as clearly stated in many of my posts on this board. I know she's quirky and she amuses me with her attention seeking, but if someone is being abused by their husband and controlled, I take that kind of thing seriously, you don't have to be a certain age to avoid being a victim of abuse. You can also argue MJ was financially abused by his own family right before his death too. There's no cutoff age for it, and though she had issues with or without him because of her upbringing, he preyed on her and manipulated her and she developed learned helplessness. I don't care if your opinions about her are different from mine, but to insult another poster for seeing it from a different perspective is very immature. You're not buying she was in an abusive relationship? I agree she may have said things because she was trying to get publicity, but I'm sure Jack was pimping her out, and making her say things. But do I feel she was 100 percent the victim? No. I'm sure she exaggerated, knowing it might burn bridges with her family, but if he was that abusive, she's going to say anything to keep the peace.

Abusers threaten to harm victims or their family or pets or whoever, and that's what I believe happened with her. Does Latoya lie? Lawd this is old news man, she came back into the family years ago and already stated the ordeal she went through with her ex husband. Midnight, the heroin story is true. On June 26th Latoya sent Jeffrey, her manager/boyfriend, tell the police Michael had heroin at home and was riddled with marks from injections of heroin. It turned out, the supposed heroin was a light version of marijuana, usually used to combat insomnia.
