Are you sleeping on Musiq again? The answer is YES

Beautiful video.

I remember when some people around here tried to say dude's writing is immature.

I completely disagree. He is one of the realest R&B artists of the past decade.

He's doesn't come with the slick talk or the double entenders; he is straightforward and honest.

Some people don't like that but I think a song with honest lyrics can be much more effective than a cleverly written song full of platitudes.

This is somebody's future wedding song. I just know it.

Yep, slept-on, for real. Thanks for posting.

I've always dug the song, but this is the first time I watch the video.

The storyline really matches the lyrics nicely.

Towards the end, I was hoping for a happy ending and I got it smile

I echo your opinion. His lyrics have always been that way since his debut album.

Never over-the-top, which is in sync with his voice color and vocal style.

He was AWESOME on tour. live big pounding drums, electric guitar solos and all..but then the albums...are only a 4% reflection of what I seen him do live. I became upset and angry actually that his music doesnt sound the same live....so in that sense I still wont buy his music but if he comes to my town I will spend the cash.

I probably was listening to the music first and looking at how short and fine he was to notice.

Always thought he was ok, not amazing, and not terribly impressed with his live show

But I do like that this song is about something real, and the video is fairly original. He's decent. nod

I think I fell off the Musiq map after soulstar, when IMO he'd kind of hit a wall with his music (or at least, I had). But for my twocents he made one of the great R&B songs of the 20th century with:

Same for me as well, but for some reason, I can't completely write him off. I like the theme of the song and video, but also, it does sound like a similar song he has recorded before. Just sayin'.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I thought Soulstar was his best album. I loved the majority of tracks on it.

I posted this waaay song way back in May when Michael Baisden jumped on

it and it got very few responses. Yes after Soulstar i really didn't pay much

attention to him until he came out with this single.
