She is so restrained and in the background on this song--it just serves as a stark comparison to the lame rap and autotuned additions which make up the majority of this throwaway song. There's nothing good abouti it. And that makes me sad because I just saw and heard Mary sing her heart out as the opening act for Prince in LA and she blew me away, with both old songs and covers, as well as a duet with Prince. I don't hear any of that on this song. I won't be buying this album. C'mon. Mary I KNOW you can do better! I just heard it in May!

Pop and R & B music is so oversaturated with guest appearances by Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake. Is the genre so depleted in terms of talent that the same old folks keeping showing up on seemingly every pop/R & B song out there?! | |
