Who do you think will garner the Most GRAMMY Nods this month?

I think the GRAMMY Nomination concert is on Nov 30th. Now this MIGHT be a long-shot but I think the ICON Mr. Tony Bennett is gonna get 8 GRAMMY Nominations including "Album of the Year".

We all know GRAMMY has its favorites and when Mr. Bennett's CD hit #1 it pretty much sealed the deal for him...I'll be SHOCKED if he gets less than 8-Nods...

I hope Tyrese gets a Nod for "Best R&B Male Vocal" for his smooth single "Stay"...I turn the radio-up every time I hear it..

Nicki Minaj had a good year and we'll see if the Voters give her propers...

Cee-Lo & Melanie Fiona are pretty much a LOCK for "Best R&B Duo/Group" for "Fool for you"..They just MIGHT get thrown in the "Best Pop Duo/Group" category just to stir things up...

Taylor Swift will walk away with no Less than 4 or more Nods..

I wonder if the voting panel will Nominate Kanye & Jay-z's "Watch the Throne" for "Album of the year" or short-change it and throw it in all the Rap categories?

Who else in the R&B, Rock, Country & Pop world ROCKED radio & retail in 2011?

Believe it or not I havent heard this Adele Chick sing anything...Even when I see her YouTube vids on other sites I never click on it...All I know about her is the RAVE reviews she gets for her live singing. I take it she's a "Belter" or she has a Soulful voice?

If she ain't BETTER than Christina Aguilera then I probably will ignore her. Is she just another Blue-eyed Soul Chick trying to HOLLA soulfully or can she really sang?

Give me the 411 and I MIGHT give her a listen....

Adele is blessed. She is alot more talented vocally than most of her peers and makes much better music. Her nominations show that there is some hope for the pop industry. You should definitly give her a listen.

I got into Adele a couple months ago. I kept hearing about how great she was from literally EVERYWHERE, even on this board. So I was finally like "let me give this chick a listen." The first song that popped up when I youtubed her was Rolling in the Deep, and I've been hooked ever since. She has a good voice, and has nice material aswell. She's a breath of fresh air from the talentless autotuned hacks such as Shitney Spears, Rhianna, Rebecca Flack, Ke$hit, Katy Perry, etc. If she doesn't sweep the Grammys, it'll be a travesty.

If she doesnt win any grammys its going to show just how full of shit politics the grammys really are... I dont care really but based on her sale numbers, radio air play, etc... she has the stats to at least win up to 6-8 grammy awards this year alone... out of the gene pool she has had the best year by far in all categories... its no excuse why she shouldnt sweep. And I am rooting for her... I might even peek at the grammys this year just for her and I vowed to NEVER ever watch it again after the MJ tributes but her success is like a fairytale story and she exactly deserves everything she is getting which a rarity.

Same here. I keep hearing about her but I can't say I've ever heard any of her songs. I may give her a listen soon, too.

I was the same way with Amy Winehouse. Kept hearing people talk about how great she was but, outside of "Rehab", I had never heard any of her songs. When I finally decided to check her out and I picked up her "Frank" CD, I was like, "DAMN! How could I have slept on this chick for so long?"lol

Is Beyonce eligible for any awards this year? If she is, it will again be her year, like it always is whenever she's nominated.

Who the hell knows? She might be up for R&B nods if anything. I don't think she has major pop support this year but we'll find out.

I really hope she gets nothing because she doesnt deserve to win anything but then again when has Beyonce won something she exactly deserved? oopps I said to much.. fuck it.

She didnt have a good year commercially at all for sales and airplay wise. If she does win anything its politics like it usually is everytime and anytime she wins something. I wish they just let that go and just allow real talent to shine for a change. There are other artists that have a chance of beating her in the r&b nods but knowing the grammys they might just give it to her for ratings like they ALWAYS do.

I FUCKIN HATE THE GRAMMYS AND AWARD SHOWS YALL CAN KISS MY BLACK ASS so full of crap and the naive public feeds into it.

Adele deserves a sweep fair and square the PUBLIC has spoken. If she doesnt sweep Im writing a petition because this is ridiculous.

Yeah, all these awards shows are full of politricks.

WEAVEonce bought all 16 of her Grammys. You can't tell me otherwise. She does absolutely nothing for me. Her music is awful, her acting (if you can call it that) is even worse. Her solo sales are shit because she's shit. I wish she would go into oblivion. evillol

This is Adele's year, but any upset would go to Beyonce, maybe Gaga. Kanye is gonna sweep his categories too. Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Florence + The Machine will likely get some love as well.

Adele and Bey both released the kind of albums that the Grammy's jack off to.

It was Adele's year and she should be a shoo-in. I see Tony Bennett and Lil Wayne taking Grammy gold in 2012.

I could understand people spouting this crap if she had won ''Album of the Year'' all the time, but a lot of her awards are for vocals so why doesn't she deserve those?

Anyway, Adele will win the most and GaGa will be behind her probably.

Terrib3Towel - If she buys them why doesn't she buy the Album of the Year one at least once? People are so nasty.

Adele actually sings her songs with some musicality instead of screaming and using 5 notes per syllable. She can belt, but it's not necessary with every song.

Like I said, I don't think Beyonce has a chance for any pop nominations but she is almost a shoo-in for R&B nods. She could still get a pop nod in the solo performance category but I doubt she'll get any other pop nod or any of the general nods like she did with "Sasha Fierce". And also MOST of the Grammys she won don't guarantee that "she bought it" argument. Lady Gaga is also gonna have a real hard time winning any pop or general nods. She is a shoo-in for dance nods though.

I'm already seeing the headline of ADELE having the most nods:

Album of the Year ("21")

Record of the Year ("Rolling in the Deep")

Song of the Year (either "Rolling" or "Someone Like You")

Best Pop Vocal Album (it's a possibility, for "21")

Best Pop Solo Performance (either "Rolling" or "Someone")

Best Alternative Album (only reason I added this is because the album has alternative rock elements and the Grammys probably would add it in but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that, they might not even consider her for it)

"21" could get Rick Rubin a nod for Best Producer of the Year, non-classical. It may also get some engineering nods. And Adele might have a music video nod for "Rolling" (I definitely see it since MTV nominated her for Video of the Year though the video itself was confusing lol ).

Gaga could still get more though if they nominate her for AOTY and ROTY but I'm seeing these nods for her:

Best Pop Vocal Album ("Born This Way")

Best Pop Solo Performance (I'm not clear what song since the ones she submitted don't sound like they would easily net her a nod)

Best Dance Recording ("Born This Way")

(Not sure about Best Dance/Electronica Album because there seems to be a good mixture of dance, pop and ballads so she might not get it this time)

She's almost a shoo-in for any music video nod

So technically she MIGHT have the most "nods".

As for Beyonce:

Best Pop Solo Vocal Performance (possibly but still uncertain but if so it'll be for "Girls")

Best R&B Performance (shoo-in, possibly for "Best Thing I Never Had")

Best R&B Album ("4")

Best R&B Song ("Best Thing I Never Had")

That's the ONLY real nods I see for Ms. Knowles.

Just running it down. These three are the biggest pop stars of the moment anyway but just running it down on how NARAS would probably nominate them. It's still a possibility for Gaga to get AOTY and ROTY nods for "Born This Way" so we shall see but then again who knows how these things actually work. The submissions give you a good idea on how they're done though.

Beyonce's not getting any pop nods. Adele, Gaga, Katy, Rihanna, and Taylor will shut her out. The Grammys (thankfully) don't always base it off skin color so Forehead will rightfully be missing from the r&b field. She'll score in the pop & dance arena. The Grammys will also do the correct thing by putting Swift in pop vocal but then they'll take two steps back by giving her country wins when she doesn't deserve them over someone more worthy. How on earth did "White Horse" win over Carrie U's "Just A Dream" last year in country vocal? Are you serious? It'll be intersting if Britney can score a nod in Best Dance Recording. She was able to get one for "Womanizer." I'd like to see if "Till The World Ends" can make the cut.
