After one listen...definitely an interesting project.
An electro-pop jazzy blues haze that lingers in a good way.... The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

I refuse to purchase this as an act of protest against his film retirement. Space for sale...

Indeed, I admire him a lot. Every time I see or hear him talk I get the impression that he is not quite with us, but in a good way.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. He must go back to it at some point, it's been with him too long. Lastly, he's left us with a film career that is unrivalled, he doesn't need to do anything else if he has chosen to retire...But If he doesn't head back to feature film, he'll do SOMETHING with film.....personally, i love the fact he only creates what he feels. Something which will cement him as a powerful, creative historical figure in time. . Sweet Jebus. My prayers have been answered. Now, if he will give up his "only digital camera" stance. As much as I appreciated Inland Empire, the look of the film was too flat and clean IMHO. Space for sale...

I absolutely loved the digital look. It allowed for such innovative use of a camera and created such a unique atmosphere. I don't know if you were a member of his site, but the shorts he did on there with the DV cams was truly inspiring. However, i completely understand people's criticisms of it. Is Angelo Badalamenti a part of this? I would check that out. Lynch is an interesting creature, definitely has a unique voice. "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..."
