According to the legendary rocker himself, he was taking a shower and had just gotten out and he either blacked out or fell asleep and he fell face down. He also claims it wasn't because he was doped up on pills saying he's sober.

I thought this was going to be a thread on his plastic surgery

^Me too! He might need some though looking at the pic. Poor guy...I like him a whole lot. I hope he's okay & that it was just an honest accident no outside factors.

I'm sure he found it amusing. He's passed out many, many times in the past, sometimes on stage. If he had drug problems, he would've checked himself in.

Sounds like Joe Perry and Tyler are getting along now, and they're supposedly back to writing their own songs for the new Aerosmith CD. Almost 40 years since "Dream On".

Still hoping for an Aerosmith/Stones co-headlining show.

Yeah Aerosmith was never gonna break up anyway. Sure they have had problems but they worked it out in the end. Least they know they getting up there, can't fuck around with what worked for over 40 years.

about 15 years ago I run into him browsing & shopping at the big record store on 5th street in Miami Beach (which Lord knows I can't remember the name at this moment...ginko biloba problems ) He was cool peeps with good skin and nice teeth... Oh my Lord, the poor thing

I use JOE as an homage to the "average" but many times wise JOE, any Joe out there, and Tyler, hmm, I always liked that second name, and I immediately realized it's aerosmith-related, so I got the whole thing, lol that was in 2002, when I started to use forums ...

If he blacked out and he's not doing drugs, he really needs to find out why he blacked out. That's usually a sign of a serious health problem.
