Marc Anthony's Wife Preggers!

Marc Anthony and his former Miss Universe (news - web sites) wife, Dayanara Torres, are back to baby-making again.

The sexy couple have combined their supergenes once again and are expecting their second child sometime in the fall, the singer's publicist, Jennifer Nieman, confirmed to the Associated Press. She declined to offer further details.


Anthony, 33, and Torres, 27, originally tied the knot in May of 2000 when, following the Blockbuster Awards in Los Angeles, he spirited his bride-to-be to Las Vegas for a quickie ceremony before a small group of family and friends.


Nine months after their whirlwind nuptials, Torres gave birth to the newly minted couple's first child, Cristian, in February, 2001. (The Grammy-winning popster has an eight-year-old daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship.)


Before Cristian's arrival, however, the Salsa-singing star was reluctant to go public about his wife's pregnancy, even going so far as to accost a Puerto Rican TV reporter who asked him whether Torres was with child.


Fans needed to know, however, so the proud papa-to-be eventually fessed up about the pregnancy at a concert a few weeks later. As for the nosy tabloid maven, he later sued Anthony, but the suit was dropped when the crooner apologized in a San Juan courtroom.


Soon after baby made three, things got rocky for Anthony and Torres, and the couple went their separate ways last July. But the twosome mended their marriage and happily renewed their wedding vows in a traditional ceremony last December at San Juan cathedral.


Anthony, best known for his mega-hit "I Need to Know," is scheduled to be one of a number of hosts for this Sunday's Grammy Awards, which will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and air live on CBS starting at 8 p.m.
