The music world lost a true gem in Miss Minnie. All these years later, she's still framed and matted (the inside of her "Stay in Love" gatefold LP where's she's sitting alone on her couch) hanging in my crib. Where the pic itself is pretty orangey, I had her matted in burnt orange and a red metallic frame to give it a firey appearance. God, continue to bless the sweet and soulful Songbird of Love and her family. xo

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Beautiful song music I remember hearing this when I was a kid.It was the spring of 1975 and I always thought this song 'sounds' like springtime....with the birds chirping and everything lol

I was just watching her episode of "Unsung". I never saw it before, it left me teary eyed. So sad. She seemed like a lovely lady whose life was cut much too soon, but yes of course "Lovin' You" is a classic. Just a beautiful, pure voice. No one can sing that song the way she did.

That along with "Inside My Love", "Here We Go" and "Reasons" are my favorite songs of hers.

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Beautiful song. Gone too soon. RIP. What a voice.

I see the sound went out when she was singing the words, Maya, Maya. She put her daughter's name ( actress Maya Rudolph) in the song.

Like you I just watched the Unsung featuring Minnie Ripperton so heartbreaking her life was cut short. She had a beautiful voice. 'Loving You' is such a classic that nobody can remake that single.

Pardon me for saying this but her husband/widow looks just like TMZ's Harvey Levin.
