I usually don't give much appreciation, but, lately through my son, I have been really feeling Frank Ocean, particularly, There will be Tears and Swim Good. I believe he is extremely underrated. I guess he is technically part of Odd Future, but really, in my opinion, he is a stand out, if he is still related to the group. Mind you, I like OFWG, but Frank Ocean is refreshing, and I love his sound and music. Just got done listening to a huge download of Lonny Breaux. Interesting to say the least. What are your thoughts? I will try to post some vids, songs, I am not too great at that, and will initially rely on my fellow orgers to help out! TY in advance! Just wanted to start a discussion on it.

Just became interested in his music within the last couple of months via the Awkward Black Girl webisodes that have used a couple of his songs. The placement of "Novacane" and "Thinking About You" in the webisodes caught my ear. Usually I don't care for autotuned sounding songs, but he's alright.

TY for posting for me! I recently started listening to Thinkin About You, I like that one too. I agree wit you, not a super big fan of autotuned songs, but something about his songs has me listening to it.

I like him a little bit more now but I still think some of his music is generic. It's just that he's not like the other R&B guys so he's considered unique and "artsy" lol. But Frank Ocean , The Weeknd (who I love) and Miguel are really doing good in the R&B department in my book.

I can agree with this, after listening to the "new" Lonny Breaux, this set sounds very generic, and sounds the same from song to song. I think Ultra has/had more potential if it was marketed correctly.

I'm sorry, but I can't get behind him. I can't deal with the watery, thin voice or the autotune

I actually have to agree. The only track by him I like is "Swim Good". Everything else is......uh.......
