I do. I think she is very unique and I kinda wonder why she isn't a bigger artist.

I don't think she's all that talented to keep it real with you. I like her voice for certain songs, but her vocals are really limited imo. I really do find her veryveryveryvery attractive though....but her being "talented"...naw....

I just think she is a unique presence on the scene today

I've always loved her voice and really dug her albums especially Kaleidoscope and Fleshtone, maybe she's a little too out there for mass appeal .

Well alot of what Gaga does now with her image and music ... Kelis had already been doing... Her voice is definitly unqiue while I think it is limited... I do think she is underrated. She at least tries to be creative and explores alot artistically. She also is attractive..

I agree, it's kind of strange that Kelis never really clicked with North American fans, while Gaga has . I love that Kelis takes so many chances, she can go from straight r and b to electronica to rock without blinking an eye, and her music videos are really creative and unique .

I think her music videos are very entertaining more entertaining than Gagas or Beyonces. I think Get Along With You was much creative and original then anything they have ever done.

Kelis is hugely underrated! Fleshtones was one of the best albums of 2010, I really wish it would have clicked better in the US market.

It really boggles the mind why it didn't, especially since euro dance pop is all the rage right now .

Yes I do! I think she is unique, bold, daring and so underrated. I like the tone of her voice a lot. She has incredible style and has a kick ass body! Love her!

As a writer, I think she is creative. As a singer, she is so-so. I'm not one who believes an artist has to be a great singer to be interesting, creative or entertaining. I like Kelis. Sometimes.

I like her, but I went to see her "live" this year and it was terrible, the sound was shit and her voice sounded like she had been up all night the night before.

I do think Kelis is talented. I like her music and think she is very underrated. Her second LP - "Wonderland" I believe is the title - is one of the most slept on albums ever. It's very good but for some reason it never made it's way to US audiences.

I love her. And yes she is underrated if u ask me.

Her US label at the time, Virgin, didn't like the album so they didn't release it in the states. That has been a running theme throughout Kelis' career; her labels (and there have been a few) simply not releasing stuff in America.

If anything, I think her music career has been misdirected a lot. Trying to force her in to a more conventional-sexy popstar mold is silly. She is best when she's doing something a little more 'out there'
