The best child singer ever Robertino Lorreti - the pride of Italy, a child with an amazing voice.

I'm admittedly biased, but...

Yes, you're biased. | |

Don't think MJ had the chops to pull off Ave Maria... Few do.

That boy's voice is beautiful. I thought that Quindon Tarver had a great voice too.

Judy Garland is up there too. Amazing and very "warm" sounding voice for someone so young. Like Mike, she sounded like an adult singer as a kid.

I think Judy Garland was the best "child singer" and got even better when she became an adult.

Justin? We're talking about the voice only, not PR.
Judy had a very good voice, but I would not put it higher than Robertino and even a little Michael.

Expert opinion. Top 10 Child Singers 10. Charlotte Church 9. Tanya Tucker 8. Gayla Peevey
Look, there are videos of all these children. They are all great singers, but I think that Robertino best of them all.
Ave Maria - the best in his performance, which I heard in my life.

#5 Frankie Lymon....and there's a story about his will and 3 wives fighting over it on Investigation Discovery Wednesday night; you know, the story about which they made that movie, Why Do Fools Fall In Love. Before these, there was a kid singer named Brenda Lee. Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

No, I do not know anything about it. I do not know anything about his personality and personal life. Just saw the video on Youtube. The boy could sing.

Robertino Lorreti is very gooood so are Garland,Brenda Lee and Stevie. MJ was good. But my vote goes to Frankie Lymon. Tragic life overshadows his voice and charisma. I've never heard anyone who sounds like he did as a kid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch-ubs_46c8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTI6zV3sC3w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZmowM7M0-4

michael jackson..jackie evancho and saheen bafogil or whatever the guy who sung on xfactors name is

Michael Jackson - but he was a phenomenal singer who was a child, not a child singer. I liked his singing as a child better than much of his adult material.

watch this boy : Declan Galbraith ! he's also very very tallented !!

Little MJ was an exceptional performer. But if we're talking vocals, he's a tad overrated. There were much better child singers.

Much better? Really? Give us a link, please, it will be interesting.
Robertino Loretti - this is the boy who sang better than Michael, in my opinion.

That is not a young Little Richard...
...It's Frank "Sugar Chile" Robinson doing Caldonia and that clip is from the 1946 movie "No Leave, No Love".

The boy that you posted, Quindon Tarver, Charlotte Church, Charice, Christina Aguilera, Tiffany Evans, Tevin Campbell, Billy Gilman.
My comment was mainly directed at that Child Singers list. I wasn't saying that little MJ wasn't good, he was awesome. But I believe that their were child singers with more range then he had.

^I see and understand what you are saying.

A matter of taste. Michael as a child had three octaves. What could be more? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqXIR3pqU8w&feature=related
I made a collection of songs for my niece, who is only 2.5 years. To do this, I listened to a lot of children singers. Quindon Tarver did not had a larger range, obviously, but he better take the high notes, Michael maneuvered better at medium tones. Charlotte Church is really better, but it is most likely a trained academic vocalist. Chariсe better too, but she became famous as a teenager, not a child. Tevin Campbell - just not, in my opinion. Billy Gilman - don`t know, can`t decide. Robertino - yes! [Edited 10/26/11 13:04pm]
