TVOne... bored

Rather watch that than BET SMH lol

On another note the shake your body and heartbreak hotel remix sound flawless but I just rather download those two instead of the whole album the other remixes on the other songs didn't work for me.

Lesser of the two evils. biggrin

At least try to get the broadcast rights to Munich '97. Several countries in Europe and Asia have gotten the rights to air it, why not TV One or an American channel in general? Or Yokohama '87?

How about the 2003 TV special "The Essential Michael Jackson" that BBC aired? neutral

I missed the vh1 michael marathons they used to play back in 01 -05 I used to rush home from school(when I was in high school at the time) to watch those lol There are many things they can show like you mention but they refuse to play them.

I REALLY miss 1999-2002 for that. I got so much footage off vh1 that made me love him even more though I was already a fan for years and had vhs tapes and CD's of his. Was in high school during this time too and he was always on my mind, and now it's too painful to revisit though I realize loving him was painful too.

It`s the soundtrack to the Cirque Du Soilel show. The remixes, mashups and remakes of the songs from the show have been released on CD.

I had to do a summary of a medical literature article for school, and I came across an article, pulbished in the British Journal of Dermatology about a potential effective treatment for vitiligo that does not include lightening creams. Rather, this is a chance to improve repigmentation, and potentially reversing the effects of the disease.

This is the study, their findings, and potential implications. This study was published in 2010.

November 26, 2011

Full article found on IDIS

Skin diseases are a very fascinating field of research, particularly vitiligo, a disease made famous by the late King Of Pop, Michael Jackson. Vitiligo is a chronic skin disorder in which melanocytes in the epidermis are systematically destroyed or rendered non-functional(the cause of which is still a mystery, although it is believed to have a genetic correlation), leaving the sufferer with a very white, almost albino patches all over their body, mostly concentrated around the eyes, mouth and hands. It can lead to a lot of psychological issues and potential problems with self-esteem, especially if the patient with vitiligo is of darker skin (i.e African American). There is currently not cure for the disease, but according to Bakis-Petsoglou, S., et al’s A randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial of pseudocatalase cream and narrowband ultraviolet B in the treatment of vitiligo, there might be hope for future patients. As the title suggests, a twenty-four week, double blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted to potentially discover if pseudocatalase cream and narrow-banded ultraviolet B (NB UVB) could repigment the skin of vitiligo sufferers.

Healthy patients of both genders who attended vitiligo clinics in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia were recruited for this study. They were older than 18 years of age, and had active cases of the disorder on the back of their hands and on their face. Another criteria included was that no adverse reactions were to be reported when the cream was applied to the backs of their hands twenty-four hours after application. Pregnant women, immunosupressed patients, and any patient who were taking tetracycline antibiotics or beta blockers were not included in this study to prevent any mixing of results.

The pseudocatalase cream and the placebo were assigned to the patients randomly. A thin layer of the cream was applied to the patient’s entire body two times a day for twenty-four weeks. Each patient also received NBUVB therapy within 10-30 minutes after application, three times a week. Minimal Erythemal Doses (or MED’s) were calculated for each patient before the therapy began. Depending on patient tolerance, each patient was given 150 mJ cm-2 (or 100% of MED). Each group of patients had varying increments of the cream’s doses. No group or patient exceeded 300 mJ cm-2. Cards were provided to the patients to keep track of their therapy (both application and NB UVB therapy). All adverse effects were documented by the researchers as well was how often these complications occurred.

Within group analysis, there was a statistically significant percentage repigmentation of the facial area (greater area improvement), and not so on the back of their hands. Photographic data indicated improvement during therapy that began in week two and continued until the end of the experiment. The patients themselves reported an improvement in repigmentation of their faces (with very few reporting actual improvements on their hands and arms). In total however, the study has demonstrated that NB-UVB treatment alone is somewhat successful in treating vitiligo. Pseudocatalase cream does not seem to help when combined with NB-UVB. Limitations of the study include small sample size, and the fact that the backs of hands and feet are known to be poor responders to treatment in general.

They couldn't agree to do a more tasteful one. And it's not even the family that cringes me. This is more of a memorial film on MJ done in the favor of David Guest with testimonials from people who knew him. I began asking myself too many times....are they trying to tell MJ's story or someone else's story? Just not a good documentary. I want my 2 hours back. mad

Prince doesn't sing the lyrics--he provides instrumental support for the MJ song.

How many times can he or J. Randy say "Well, Michael told me...." or "After that I called Michael and he said..."

Did Michael talk to these dudes after every moment in his life? "Ooh I just took a huge dump! Lemme call David!", "Lisa Marie finally let me hit! Lemme call J. Randy!"

I said this on here and KOP

Frank Cascio made me uncomfortable. Like he stole car radios and sold crack as a hobby. Dude honestly looks like he owns a unmarked van by the river

He REALLY did. After watching, I felt the urge to take a hot shower to wash the sleaze off

I like how Tito, Rebbie, and Katherine were all like "Joe wasn't that bad....." then cut to Bobby Taylor saying with a straight cold face, "JOE WAS A TYRANT. HE WAS MEAN, AND VIOLENT....."

Parts of it definitely made my face scrunch up (Destiny getting a 2 second mention for one)

Well obviously Mike was not the only Jackson that was in denial for some of his problems, like the Jacksons have mentioned over the time (interventions and shit) It runs in the family apparently . I guess Tito and Rebbie didn't get the "belt of love" that the other kids and especially Mike and Randy (??) got from Papa Joe and that's why they claim that Joe wasn't that bad? Funny because it's too easy for them to say Mike was this and that and lay out all his problems but when it comes to their faults and mistakes, they really do a fantastic work in brashing everything aside and hiding their head in the sand.

Joe WAS that bad and some of the problems that Mike had later ιn his life were due to his attidute towards him.Negating that is like negating one of the reasons that let to their brothers premature death.

I'm not gonna get into those "interventions" because honestly, it's neither here or there but you're right about them brushing off Joe's actions towards his kids. I think it's because Katherine and the daughters didn't see the side of Joe that Michael, Marlon, and the other brothers saw. From what's been said, Jackie, Marlon, and Michael got the worse brunt of Joe's wrath

Add Randy. I heard he and dude got into it during the 1993 Halloween party. I think Joe got along mostly with Tito and Jermaine. It makes sense when you think about it.

Unseen Michael Jackson documentary fails to sell at UK auction

Scrapped movie from 1993 tour was expected to fetch £4 million

A previously unseen Michael Jackson documentary has failed to sell at a London auction.

The film, which features footage of the singer's 'Dangerous' world tour in 1993 filmed in Argentina, was expected to fetch £4 million last night (November 26).

But a spokesman for the Fame Bureau auctioneers said:

At this stage it has not sold. We are still talking to people, but online it did not sell.

The auction house said it had been forced to remove a brief clip of the video from its website before the online auction after Jackson's record label made a "copyright claim", reports Reuters.

The fact that a successful buyer may not be able to use the film for commercial purposes may have dampened demand given the hefty asking price, but the spokesman played down the copyright dispute.

Jackson gave a VHS copy of the scrapped film to his chauffeur, who wished to remain anonymous. The King Of Pop was said to be unhappy with the finished documentary, which is why it was never released, and he also sacked the crew who worked on it.

The driver said he had been given the tape as "a reward or a bonus" for his "transportation services" and leaked a very short clip of the film online in 2009 after Jackson's death, but was stopped by the singer's record label and lawyers who claimed exclusive rights to the film.

However, although he is forbidden by US law from distributing copies, he does have the right to sell or transfer the VHS to third parties.

Since his death in 2009, there has been a slew of Jackson-related memorabilia sold at auction houses. In June of this year, the jacket that the singer wo...or auction, along with his famous white glove and a fedora he wore onstage.

Earlier this month, meanwhile, a pair of silk pyjamas and ... were sold in Ireland (November 8).

Very well said!

I think some of them know this. They just say alot of bullshit to cover up for Joe because they know he has a bad image... Michael has not been the only one to speak harsh on Joes parenting... and pretending like that had no affect on Michael as an adult is very delusional.. I wonder if Joe even cares or cared... smh.. sad
