It's a shame that he never had the courage to allow the general public to see him like this, it may have shut a lot of them up.
Then again, maybe not. His eldest son also has vitiligo and yet there are still those who claim that he's not Mike's child.
Courage? How annoying. People were talking because they are mindless pawns of the media who gave them something to talk about instead of explaining the situation as it was explained to them.
You can see the vitiligo splotches in They Don't Care About Us video. Just like you could hear him speaking in a deeper voice at the Super Bowl in 1993 and other places. Yet people believe what they want because it's less frightening to think MJ was a freak than to acknowledge that the media just tells us boildfaced lies about any and everything to suit various agendas.
MJ wasn't hiding anything. People were just being led by the media and not looking or thinking for themselves. Now all of a sudden he should have just gone outside with no makeup to appease the curiosity of the fickle masses. The reason so many people didn't know about vitiligo is most people who have it - especially on their faces - wear makeup to cover it. That's regular people not people who get photographed just for stepping foot outside their homes. So why should a world famous star have gone outside with disfiguring splotches just because some idiots don't believe he had vitiligo? The joke is on their dumbasses now, but they are too dumb to understand an autopsy report and don't even know it to this day.
You're preaching to the choir here.
I know his vitiligo is evident in the vid for TDCAU, but blink and you'll miss it.
And yes, I do wish he'd have had the courage to let people see the extent of his condition as it was nothing to be ashamed of. That's all. |

MJ was not the one who confused people about his vitiligo. He just can't win. It's his fault that he got it and his fault that fools didn't believe him. I guess it's also his fault that people still believe he didn't have vitiligo despite the autopsy report. Never their fault for being stupid tabloid junkie sheep.
It's crazy that people were acting like they'd never heard of vitiligo or a black person turning white because of it. Ebony magazine did an article on it back in 1978. And this is the issue about the Wiz so MJ would have kept this one no doubt. If you aren't a black American you are excused for not knowing about Ebony magazine. But it was a household staple when I was coming up.

I'm not disagreeing with you, lighten up.
I get annoyed by the misuse of terms like "courage" especially when leveled against someone who was a pioneer in so many ways and showed more courage than his distractors can ever fathom. If MJ had shown his naked body to prove vitiligo that would have just been spun into something else by the media. MJ's willingness to reveal details was not the root cause of the public's confusion. The root cause was the disingenuous media that wanted people to be confused. So there was nothing he could have done to clear it up as long as you were geting his message through the media's filter.
After MJ spoke about his skin condition in the Oprah interview in 1993, Geraldo Rivera did a show on vitiligo with people who suffered from it - soon after. MJ's vitiligo was acknowledged by medical profressionals in 1994. So why were people on tv in 2009 saying that he bleached himself white for cosmetic reasons? Because the media deliberately kept the confusion going all this time. So the lack of courage is on the part of people who deliberately lied about this rather than stand against the bullshit status quo for how the media treated Michael Jackson. Looking for cowards? Try your nearest mediat outlet. |

Mainstream media is a monumental bastard, I'm well aware of that.
And again, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying I wish Mike would have rolled his sleeves up or something just to shut the fuckers up. |

Wow, this picture is really telling.
Last year i was reading an interview of a friend of MJs , oddly someone who hasn't written a book about him or parade on the media, and he was telling how MJ did have the disease and he described it exactly how i see it in the picture. That his hands were covered with black patches and that's why he used to wear shirts with long sleeves all the time. So he could cover the marks. I also remember him saying how much he admired MJ for the way he was handling not only his disease but also the fact that the whole media were making fun of him and call him names because of it.
Of the topic, i think he also said that people on the media had approced him and offered him money in order to trush Mike or say things against him, and he said that he was amazed by the fact that people would actually offer money in oder to have someone say something negative about someone else.

Quincy was right until that last flippant line (which I suppose was the "joke"). But hey, at least Quincy is honest about shit and I respect him for that. Very bad taste from Quincy though, but hey I hacn't heard the audio yet so I suppose it was sarcastic LOL.
I know Quincy made some crack about his kids, but he is right LOL. Blanket might have something to do with Mike but Paris and Prince don't. It doesn't matter to me personally as Mike raised and loved them, but genetics clearly show Prince and Paris have nothing to do with Mike biologically.
As for Teddy? I lost alot of respect for him for that "Michael" bullshit. I think Quincy said it didn't sound like him on some of the tracks and he was right. Teddy's lying about that, and got paid for it too. Not cool.
Obviously you don't know anything about genetics, but you are in good company on that one.
As I said, Iam not bothered either way, but yes I know little about genetics, but I just can't see any of Michaels features in those 2 kids. Sorry. Iam sure ur right though as I havn't really looked into it.

Some parts of the book of frack cascio:
"Sometimes Michael invited members of his fan clubs to Neverland, and he occasionally formed a special relationship with one of the women. One time I was driving Michael into town. Someone was next to me in the passenger seat of the Bentley, and Michael was in the backseat, kissing one of his fans.
"Easy back there," I said. "Relax, calm down."
"Just keep driving," Michael said in a joking way. "Don't worry about it, just keep driving."
Michael's dalliances with fans were infrequent and discreet, but they were hardly unheard of. He tended to like tall, slender women whom I'd describe as nerdy in a sexy way. Once, in Lodon, I was in his suite when he brought a friend he'd known for years into his bedroom. They were in there for about an hour, and when he emerged, his pants were unbuttoned. I smirked at him.
"Shut up, Frank," he said, smiling sheepishly. The woman, equally sheepish, said goodbye and left.
Around this time, Michael had another friend - I'll call her Emily - who visited the ranch regularly. She was a nice, cute girl, slender, with brown hair, in her early to midthirties. Emily didn't want or need anything from Michael. They just liked spending time together - talking, walking around, hanging out in his bedroom. It was a romantic relationship, but as far as I know, he didn't tell anyone about Emily but me. Michael kept her a secret - she didn't stay in his room because he didn't want her to be seen coming out in the morning - and even I didn't see real evidence of the romance. That's how I knew he was telling the truth. He wouldn't have been so secretive if he hadn't had something to hide. That was the longest relationship I saw Michael have: Emily was at the ranch frequently over the course of about a year.
The question as to whether Michael was intimate with Debbie Rowe came up often. People seemed to think that they could make sense of Michael if they could only unravel the mystery of his relationships with women, but Michael was his own man. There were no simple answers. I know he was sexually intimate with Lisa Marie when they were together - he told me so. With Emily, to be honest, I'm not sure, but I know in her he found a companion, a friend."
so...despite this he still isn't sure if michael was sexually intimate with someone besides lisa marie? i don't get why there are "no simple answers" about this. there should be, isn't it just yes or no? unless he thinks if it was yes michael would have told him, since he did with lisa. huh |

if that's the case why is he so ambivalent about it? like it or not, that paragraph makes it sound like he isn't sure about michael in regards to sexual intimacy. i mean, if he knew michael had sex with groupies he wouldn't be all ambiguous and saying with michael there are no "simple" answers and it's still a mystery, etc. it'd be pretty straightforward |

Michael Jackson’s Irish American chauffeur remembers him fondly
Justice was at last served last week in the Michael Jackson tragedy when his “doctor” was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, and Michael’s many Irish acquaintances are fondly remembering the time when the King of Pop lived in Ireland for a while back in 2006. Ray O’Hara acted as chauffeur for Michael and his three children while they resided in Grouse Lodge in Co. Westmeath, where he was working on a new recording. MJ, O’Hara said, couldn’t have been sweeter, and he was determined to purchase real estate in Ireland. “I brought Michael Jackson to view properties around the country, mainly in Westmeath and around North Dublin,” O’Hara told the Dublin People newspaper. “Michael came here to live. The man loved the place and the remoteness of Westmeath and the fact that it was just an hour’s drive from Dublin.“He spent a lot of time just looking at properties around the place. If he was looking at a property he would make a family picnic out of the day.” Believe it or not MJ traveled light and without a security detail – just a nanny and tutor for the kids, O’Hara recalled. He was also touched by Michael’s caring nature. “The man was lovely. At the time in 2006 there were a couple of traveler children who were injured in a car fire. He wanted to go to Crumlin Hospital to visit them and do something for them,” O’Hara says. “The owner of the Grouse Lodge told him that he couldn’t just walk into the hospital. But that was the nature of the guy and he really wanted to do something for the children.”
The persons who knew it always remember it as a very sweet person.
