She and her producer Opolopo are performing at The Sugar Factory in Amsterdam tomorrow night. Me and my friend have been talking about going to Amsterdam for a while, so we said fuck it and bought some tickets! It's gonna be awesome!!!

So I stayed in Amsterdam for another three days after the gig and got blazed out of my mind LOL... I've been back since Wednesday but only just really recovered haha.

Amalia straight up tore it up. She was gracious enough to put me and my friend on the guestlist. There was a crazy good opening act, a girl named Lady La Coco who sang and rapped with a full band including saxophone player. Then Amalia and Opolopo hit the stage and straight up killed it!! I remember them doing "Bonafide", "Life's A Dance (Swing Mix)" and another track that I didn't recognise from the album that was dedicated "to all the Minneapolis funk fans".

It was a great night and a great trip. They might be doing some UK gigs next month apparently I'll defo be attending if they do.

Also, they just dropped the new music vid for "Freeze That"

If and when she tours stateside, I'm definitely going to see her. six months into having her album, I'm still amazed at how great it is, it's one you can plop on your earbuds and just space out with all day. If you get another chance to see her, tell her that the Org loves her.
