Some friends of mine and I presented a morning- radio show at a very small local station in Groningen, the Netherlands. The radio station was run by volunteers and people on benefits. We attempted to do a modern, typical popular type of radio show where people could call in and request songs. They could win a t-shirt, but the first few weeks nobody ever called. There was only one guy who called every single day, and the only song he wanted to hear was KRS-ONE, sound of the police. I played it when he called, even if the song was officially branded "to hard to play" (and thus banned) by the officials.
