Prefab Sprout (1985) - "When Love Breaks Down"/ "Moving The River" ...
I just started reminiscing about this classic album "Two Wheels Good" ('Steve McQueen" in the UK) from 1985, - great songs by Paddy McAloon, produced by Thomas Dolby....

This is sacred music to my ears.
Apart from the great "Bonny", I like "Blueberry Pies" a lot. A song often ignored, but, in my opinion, it's a hidden gem.
Paddy McAloon is said to be recording something new, by the way. | |

I never really followed their career, but somehow i happen to have their CD 'Andromeda Heights'.
Its very slick music, almost elevator-music, but very well-composed in the end.
This tune is polished cheesy pop, but somehow it touches me:

Actually, that describes how I feel about the whole "Andromeda Heights" album. It actually grew on me over time....
