What the hell was that? Lee started crying and had to be excused for not feeling well.

Yeah I saw that. confused She said she was getting dizzy and something about this case being really sensitive for her. So the judge let her be excused for a few minutes. Hope she can handle the pressure cuz she's still gotta finish giving her testimony and then cross-examination by Walgren.

nurse lee is a hostile witness. she really doesn't want to be a witness for the def but they've called her to confirm that mj asked her about propofol.

she started crying on cross when the pros read back her notes, where apparently mj told her about the diprivan: "i'll be safe as long as there is someone to monitor me".

i can see her being upset at being called to testify by the man who she knows failed to monitor mj, and also failed to dissuade him from this path. whoever convinced him long ago that it was okay in the first place was wrong, and murray had a duty to warn him like dr. metzger and nurse lee. as a cardiologist, his status maybe would have given the warning more weight.

so far, the def witnesses have been excellent ... for the prosecution.

What a waste of time. I cannot make a single point the defence is making. What did they bring all those witnesses for?

I've been waiting for Randy Phillips to testify. Especially the cross examination....I know we may not get anything significant but I am curious......

i think this is the witness a lot would like 2 hear from tho

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Yeah, Prince got about two shout outs today. I was wondering if he was going to mention him. I guess it would be hard not to considering Prince's record @ the O2.

So basically the people the defense is using are disguised but in cross are revealed to be for the prosecution. I remember how in Michael's trial it was the absolute reverse. lol

Prince mentioned again. The guy said that originally there were supposed to be 31 showns and it was Michael who came up with this number because he wanted to do 10 more than Prince. lol Sweetheart...

OK, so all these guestions about meetings in the hotels led to MJ being drug addict, which was denied or he said that there was never a concern about him and drugs...lol

Maybe their point is to bore everyone to death with total pointless questioning, hoping that the jury will forget what the prosecution has brought so far, before coming in with their saviour (or so they think) witness Dr. White.

They have just mentioned that Mike was a complete genius and his detail to music and visuals was phenomenal. It was also stated that he was a phenomenal father. All that brought tears to my eyes.neutral

He has also stated that he had goosebumbs at the rehearsal he attended and that after being 30 years in the business he's quite cynical about it, but Mike still blew him away. Mike was ready, excited, happy.

Prine was mentioned by Paul Gongaware (sp?) towards the beginning of the trial also. Paul said basically the same thing as Randy Phillips, that MJ wanted to do 10 more shows than Prince. lol

Besides, it does not matter about MJ being a drug addict. If he was, it makes Murray look even worst for enabling a drug addict. At the end of the day, the only drugs in MJs system were the drugs that Murray gave him.

i mean, are they TRYING to lose this case?

why would the def call phillips to the stand if he could corroborate the claims they made in their open statements?

their defense has been based on rumors and half-truths, which made a lot out of these events appear to be more than they were.

again, advantage prosecution. randy shows a) that mj was completely trusting *and* deferential to murray, b) murray was fully aware of klein and could have easily have called him to confer on mj's health but didn't and c) even after it was apparent to everyone else that mj's body was beginning to show signs of distress to the point that they were concerned, he continued to "experiment".

the only consolation i take from this, in a weird way, is that when mj went to bed that night, he was likely happy. his bags were packed for london, and he was looking out toward the future, not back into the abyss. that's the only consolation i take from randy's testimony. sad

Flanagan just cannot get through Walgren's objections to get his "expert opinions". lol
