t's been said before, and it's happened again: Houston, we have a problem.

Whitney Houston, that is, who was involved in an incident aboard an Atlanta-to-Detroit Delta flight Wednesday, a source close to the singer confirms to PEOPLE.

Houston, 48, refused to fasten her seatbelt and had words with a crewmember before she eventually was buckled up by a flight attendant before takeoff.

"She wasn't drunk, drinking or on drugs; she was just exhausted," the source tells PEOPLE.

Every time Nippy makes a buffun out of herself, her fans always come scrambling to her rescue, making excuses and accusing others of picking on the poor thing and being haters. There is a thread on this very board detailing all of her movements with pics from Thursday. she has been on numerous flights and 3 cities back and forth for the last 5 or so days.

Of couse bitter pressed kitbradley never posted in the thread about her visit to teen summit charity event, her speech for her friend pastor/gospel singer kim burrell, her presenting her with an award, her endorsing of candles with some proceeds going to teens or her interview or how all the accounts of fans who met her said she looked great, was patient, humble and had a great demeanour and was hugging/taking pics with the kids and telling them she loved them

No, no mention of that at all. Must be miserable to lead such a bitter life to stay looking for flaws in people and avoiding the positive.

There is no mention of her even screaming or doing anything other than staying in her seat. No mention of her screaming, carrying on at all and there has been numerous articles.

However, in that teen summit thread there are lots of first hand accounts of people who have been around her up close and personal, ate lunch with her, took pics with her and interviewed her and only positive things were said.

I'm interested in how you square the two and come up with she must be on 'that stuff'?

And there are people on here who are way harsher on Nippy than I am so why am I singled out? I've had positive things to say about the old gal every now and then. For instance, I recently posted in one thread that I'd rather hear Nippy's off-key croaking than to hear Beyonce or Rhianna alleged singing anyday. Now wasn't that positive?

Over the years, I've found there is only one thing worse than Micheal Jackson fans, and that's Whitney Houston fans! No matter what she does or how ridiculous she acts, they are always making excuses for her. It doesn't matter if she's making a public spectacle of herself, her fans will always be there to defend her to the bitter end. And if someone dares to criticize her, watch out! All hell breaks loose! I can't tell you how many times I've been verbally assaulted and accosted by her crazed fans on the net over the years. I've been on boards where if you even dared say anything remotely negative about her behavior, her fans would come after you with guns and torches! It's absolutely insane how her fans are so obsessed with her. You people need to wake up and realize Nippy don't give a crap about her fans. I don't know what sites you visit but whitney has some of the hardest fans on her. They are hard but still supportive. You just seem to show up whenever there is a negative story or someone is ridiculing her here just like u have in this instant.

I am not making any excuses for her. All of the stories read that there were no drugs or drinking invloved. None of the stories said she was loud, intimidating, threatening etc. they all said she was in her seat and acqueiesce to the fa putting on her seatbelt.

I responded because i know what and where she has been doing/going for the last week and it was full of travel to multiple cities for a good cause that you ignored. All of that flying back and forth and being on set is enough to make someone tired and cranky. Was it right, now but it's not as if what she did rose to a security risk or warranted someone saying she is back on that stuff.

That is not true. She's been travelling none stop for the last few days in multiple cities. Not an excuse but hardly warranting mass media coverage around the world I'd think. If you don't know her to be doing anything that's fine but don't make up stuff. She has been very busy, u just haven't heard about it.
