He fell off quick too lol but for a minute I was feeling him too.

I think 50 knew that most rappers have short life spans and he made his paper and did smart things with it. There have been few exceptions to that pattern and if they didn't find another way of making money they'd be done right now.

Yeah like babybugz said, he did Vitamin Water and that shit so he's good lol

Why do you think his hype was so short-lived? He owned 2003 and then by the next year he was already falling off...

People have short attention spans I think also 50 couldn't really evolve with the music and subject matter. The beef with the game didn't help either I love the G-Unot stuff too lol and his album war with Kanye like another poster mention.

Plus, The beef with Kanye just made him seem petty.

Kanye was the bigger man, and never really bothered with, he always said he was a big 50 cent fan.

That beef was actually fake and I fell for it lol . I went to a T.I. concert at MSG around the time the album war was going on and he brought out Jay-Z , Kanye , 50 Cent and diddy they was all on the same stage acting like nothing happen lol

I was in 8th and 9th grade when Murder Inc was big falloff

I'll say this and I don't care if I get flamed, but thank god for Kanye West because the overabundance of Fiddy, Ja, Cam'Ron and all that was at a ALL TIME high lol

Murder INC fell off so hard. From 2000 to 2003, they wre like how YMCMB are now. Radio hits everywhere, no.1 albums and the top female artist in the game(Ashanti).

50 Cent single handedly destroyed their careers.

Kanye is just a ego maniac. But he's still the cream of the hip hop crop in my book.

Murda inc, was always B.S. 50 wasn't the only one ate them

They where targetd by everybody, because Ja tried to beef with everyone, and everyone ganged up on him

Murda Inc was not respected by any means.

DMX said that at first he was joking (because he and Irv were homies) but then Ja started telling people he was going to make a diss record and that's when X decided "oh that's what's up?" and put out his diss. When he did that, he said Ja told the radio station he wanted to "squash the beef" so yeah Ja knew he was fucking with the wrong people especially after Eminem and Busta and 'em came back after he basically dissed them in "400 Barz" (I think that was the name of it).

DMX doesn't like Ja Rule to this very day.

X saw what kind of person Jay-Z was once he signed with Def Jam. I don't know about the illuminati theories but Shawn treated X dirty as far as promotion went.

People joke about them left & right nowadays acting like they never ran shit. Ja Rule used to be unstoppable.

Ashanti OWNED 2002. Bey came out the next year and put a stop to it but for months she had the game on lock. She was scoring hits all over the place.

lol They know they was screaming it's murderrrrr lol I used to love them too then I went right to 50 Cent in 2003 lol

Why would they have ever thought glorifying the word 'murder' to be a good idea in the first place?

Maybe there was bad karma attached to the name

lol @ Fifty, I loved WANKSTA headbang

In my opinion Wanksta was the only good track he had.

I liked In Da Club mostly because of Dre's production.

But there was really nothing special about 50.

He had a decent flow, but most of the time, it sounded like he had marbles in his mouth.

The funniest shit I ever heard was when Cam called him 'Bugz Monkey'

To this day I think Irv Gotti bought all(at least 250,000) of those Ashanti CDs for her first release. I never met anyone who had her music yet she sold half a million in the first week! lol

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
