What the hell..people now days don't have seizures unless something is really wrong. He needs to be on some type of medication for that..

I just got word that Rick's heart has stopped but they're not pronouncing him dead.

Seizures aren't something you go to the ER for, they give you a shot and send you on your way. Trust me, I know from experience.

The staff at the hospital has made a huge error in judgement.

Maybe he left against medical advice. My DH does it all the time. They probably wanted to do an MRI of his brain (to rule out tumors) and if this man is large, maybe they wanted to transfer him to another hospital (if this one was small or medium size) because not all hospitals have MRI machines and not all have machines large enough to fit morbidly obese people.

About an hour or so after a seizure you feel totally fine and totally normal.

If he had a concert to go to tonight... he might have promised to follow up with his own MD and left without thoroughly getting checked out.

Hope he is okay.

From what I've been told about what happened to me. I had one while the paramedics were loading me into the ambulance, and I had another at the ER.

I damn sure didn't feel fine or normal afterward, either.

Sad news, but honesly I'd never heard of him. When I saw his name trending on Twitter I had to look him up. I was only thinking of Ricky Ross from Deacon Blue, which would have been strange.

I used to live next door to a lady who had seizures. She was not supposed to drink, but she did anyway to excess. The majority of the times that she had a seizure was when she dranked. So maybe that's what's going here.
