Bob Marley & Lauryn Hill- Turn Your Lights Down Low

I already know some of you will tear this apart lol

But i love this version, yes the original is better. But i love what Lauryn did with Bob's vocals & then added her own parts, i think it's a great song.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

This is a great song and well as duet. It was tastefully done, so I don't think you will get much grief from anybody.

Well there are some people who hate Lauryn on this board. I noticed a lot of negative comments on the video... i think it was tastefully done as well.

Pretty much. I liked this one but some others I can do without, like Betty Wright's duet with Marvin on "Distant Lover". Yuck... lol

Lauryn, may not be the most sharpest tool in the drawer, but that does not take away from the fact that she is talented.

What makes this duet so good, is the fact that his sons were behind it and made sure that it was done tastefully.

I know it soudns annoying when people say this, but i wish Lauryn was still like this. People always say oh i wisht he artists was still yada yada. Shit with Lauryn.. girl is a legend but she had SO MUCH MORE she could have done.

IMO she is one of the most wasted talents of all time, even more then Whitney. WHich you mentioned, even though Whitney never got to full potential. She did have a full boy of work, but Lauryn from 98-00 besides Miseducation was dueting with Aretha, D'Angelo, Nas, Bob Marley lol

She was at it.... it's like she was rising then feel in a cave for years lol
