Could be the theme song for an Audrey Hepburn movie. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. Aretha sounds exquisite but this sounds like a Dionne Warwick song that she turned down.

According the the liner notes the song was originally intended for an album titled A Bit of Soul. That album was never released and the songs intended for it were released as singles or crept out on compilation albums.
