They both wear wacky outfits and fancy themselves pioneers in the music industry. Other than that, I don't see much similarity. They would make an interesting couple tho. Surely Marilyn has thought about shagging Gaga. He has all the drag she would ever need.

GaGa is currently in her element although she is in dire need of a rest and perhaps a reboot... it'll be interesting to see what's next for her...

He is more venomous in his lyrics but they both are the odd kid out who preach self acceptance and anti conformity.

He also once did something with a woman where she was covered in meat,lol.

If you youtube their names together they actually made a song together and he also commented on her use of other people's style without paying tribute.

The facial bone structure is very similar and some of her make-up choices are much like his at earlier times.

He needs her more than she needs him at this point.

He has fallen more than he seems to realize and not having a known name by his side any longer doesn't help. I hate fake romances just to get press but this guy really needs it. So does Winona Ryder and they would help each other out a great deal if they faked a romance.

I disagree. I see and hear many silimarities. She even looks like him lol!I think she is just a more commercially accesable, pop version of him. Not quite as dark and twisted but I do think she was influenced by him whether she gives him credit or not.

These 2 are very different, GaGa is pop.. Manson metal or industrial however you view it.
And they have many different subject mater
But i would say Manson by miles, his albums are very underated. His dark, crazy lyrics are very good, and set a perfect mood for each album. He has fallen with his last album let's hope he gets back up!

Well, IMO they ARE similar in a way that they are perceived by many people as authentic, groundbreaking artists, which they simply ain't.

Marilyn Manson took the industrial rock of the likes of Ministry and Nine Inch Nails and made a charicature out of it.

Lady Gaga's dresses, outfits and make-up cannot hide the fact her music is nothing more then 'Britney Spears with a wig'.

I like a lot of musicians, but i never saw the appeal of Lady Gaga. She is presented by some as the next big thing in popular music, when - as i said - her music itself doesn't differ that much from that of Britney, Rihanna or Katy Perry.

I have to admit I somewhat agree with you. While not a fan of Gaga, I'd venture to say she's far more talented than Britney. Gaga and Rihanna are just too far different to make even the slightest comparison but Gaga and Perry are vocal equals and they have a penchant for wearing strange head-dresses and showing their appreciation and reliance on pop culture in their videos.

My main issue with Gaga Gaga is that she simply doesn't do anything musically interesting.

So what if she can sing better then Britney Spears? She still delivers predictable producers-pop. The kind of music that bores me to death.

And i see her prancing around in silly costumes, and creating so called 'provocative' video's as a simple act. I simply don't believe her, both as a musician and as a so-called groundbreaking media figure. I think she is just as much the 'product' of producers and managers with dollar signs in their eyes, as in the case of Britney. That is why I compare these two.
