Can We Revisit Kate Bush's Director's Cut?
So, I finally got the album and am blown away at the new arrangements. I know the vibe here on the org was mixed when it was originally released yet I also know that Kate can take some time to digest. So, I'm curious, has your thoughts on the work changed? Love it more? Less?
What's your take?
For me, the updated Moments of Pleasure could well be my all time favorite Kate song. And I simply adore the re-working of This Woman's Work. Space for sale...

I bought this on the day it was released. After the initial play every day for a week or so, it still holds the ability to make me feel good when I decide to give it a spin. I shall resist a "favorite song" type reply but yes, Moments Of Pleasure is an utter delight. I can listen to these new versions of the songs without pining for the originals too much.
Great album.

I have not listened to this yet, but I'm excited about the new material "50 Inches of Snow" being released in November

I kind of wish she did more from the back catalog than focus on Red Shoes and Sensual World. I agree it takes time for her music to digest, Aerial is still pretty fresh sounding.
I think it's cool that she signed with -Anti, the subsidary of Epitaph. I thought it would've been a good place for Prince to sign with.
