Well, Janet Jackson Has Performed songs off Her First Two Albums! [I stand Corrected] Thank you TotalAlisa & AlexdeParis for the links. That are pretty awesome! [but In all honesty, I still wonder why Prince never performs any songs off of his first album...]

I knew she was performing the old songs on the Rock Witchu Tour ahead of time, but I wish I hadn't. That would have been the biggest surprise for me when I saw her here in NYC because I had been waiting years to hear those songs live. I could tell though, that the crowd was losing interest by the time she got to "Don't Stand Another Chance." | |

She might've been somewhat lol. I remember reading a post by Roots-drummer Questlove who spinned as a dj either "Say You'll Do" or "Young Love" on a party which she attended. She seemed to react embarrassed when hearing them, but Questlove complimented her about those classic grooves by producers such as Rene & Angela + Leon Sylvers, III.
