I doubt it. Despite the fact he didn't bathe (because he believed he had to have a dancer's body, I guess he heard dancers didn't wash or nothing and they didn't eat of course lol) and he always had junk around his room, when it came to his bed, dude was careful. I'm sure if his hair was a Jheri, he would've wore a du-rag.

Rick? He had curly hair after 1982 but I don't think his was Jheri, his was just straight up long curls. Of course it got cut once he went to prison lol

About the curls, a Jheri uses chemicals and activator, but a set and curl is either permed or flat-ironed and curled with a curling iron. I think in Purple Rain, Prince had a perm, and then the stylist curled it with a hot iron. He'd been perming his hair for about a good four years up til that point. Michael had the activator kind of curl.

It never dripped (unless he was in concert), but then again Michael had the dollars to get the best that money could buy

I loved his curls, back in the day.

I like the hair MJ (when they were natural, not wigs, of course ).

But he had too severe a double line of hair.

Stevland did not wear no damn Jheri Curl...
