By now most of you have heard about the lame stunt that Sean “Puffy” Combs pulled at T.I.’s welcome home party at Atlanta’s Compound nightclub during the BET Hip Hop Awards weekend.

The whole thing started when Combs, who shared the VIP booth next to Atlanta lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns’ VIP booth, got upset that Burns and his boys were waving their decanters of Grey Goose around in the air. Burns is a marketing rep for Grey Goose.

I should pause here to say that both Combs and Burns are paid handsomely by liquor companies to promote their respective vodka brands.

Also, Puffy and Kenny go way back to their college days where they were both well-known for promoting parties. Those two men are as thick as thieves. They are tighter than Chris Brown’s skinny jeans. So the idea that Combs and Burns would be fighting in a club over liquor bottles that they don’t even have to pay for is ludicrous.

In other words, it would never go down like that unless there was some hidden agenda.

The real story is likely that Combs tried to pull a stunt at T.I.’s welcome home party to promote his liquor brand — knowing full well that T.I. had just gotten out of prison and didn’t need that kind of drama.

T.I. was so agitated at Diddy’s self-centered antics that he grabbed the mic to lecture the Bad Boy Records CEO for jeopardizing his probation status (see video below).

But that’s not all: T.I.’s people were so upset at Combs that they disinvited the rap mogul to T.I.’s birthday brunch the next day.

There are those in the industry who believe Combs had an even darker agenda on Saturday night.

Many point to the fact that Combs pulled a similar stunt at a party at The Petersen Automotive Museum on March 9, 1997 that resulted in the Notorious B.I.G. losing his life in a hail of gunfire later that night.

A self defeated and humiliated Combs took to his Twitter page early this morning to humbly apologize to the universe for his inner demons:

I’m a child [of] God and I should be better no matter what somone says to me. I’m sorry for the ignorant way I repesented myself and us. To all my childen of God … I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better. I have a responibility that I promise I will live up to. And I’m more dissapointed in myself than you know. Diddy attended and was trying so hard to get Prince attention to the point of jumping on stage and laying on the ground. Prince completely ignored him. So Diddy left.

There's two different reports as to how 'Pac got the shots, one I saw said he tried to move to the backseat but he had his seatbelt on, another said, 'Pac tried to move backseat but was held back by Suge.

Why dont they all just grow up? I dont understand this... What is with all these rappers over 30 acting like their 12????
