The Talented Funky Ms. Angela Winbush

Just wanted to show some love to Ms. Winbush. She wrote and produced some great tunes. Some were funky, some were powerful ballads, but they all bared her signature style and soul:

Which was later sampled for Biggie's "I Love The Dough" Feat. Jay-Z & Angela Winbush:

She borrowed from The Little Purple Wonder on this one:

And this one just because. I actually forgot about this song and how beautiful it is. It's performed perfectly by the then couple. It really encourages the soul of the listener. The video features some real heavyweight musicians too:

Now, this is somone I've been pining for new material from! Her last album was in 1994 or '95. eek

The last thing I heard from her was that she was going to school to get a degree in ministry or something. I too hope she gets her fine mature ass in the studio and produce another hot record. razz

love her! "I'll Be Good" has always been my favorite, especially the extended 12" mix.

She doesn't get enough props.
