I was just thinking that this whole trial is a such a media circus--just like MJ's whole life was after "Thriller." Similar to the OJ "reality show." I don't envy anyone who has to live their lives in the public eye--especially with the kind of hysteria MJ generated. I remember going to ex-President Clinton's book signing years ago where people stood in line for hours waiting to get his autobiography signed. When the secret service cut off the line and said that was it, there was a crowd of angry people who yelled and cussed out the secret service. One "man in black" told the belligerent crowd that they should be ashamed of themselves and that President Clinton shouldn't sign any books for the likes of them because of the way they acted. I watched Clinton drive away in the limo and then I walked down the street alone. It was quiet and people didn't even look at me as I passed by. And I remember thinking what a blessing and pleasure it was to be anonymous and be able to just walk down a public street without being hounded by people who wanted to take a piece of your hide as a souvenir... confused

That's the price all famous people suffer in one way or another. That's the saddest part of celebrity. You really have no privacy. Michael's whole life was definitely without privacy.

That's exactly why I would never want to be a celebrity. The "ordinary" people who seek out instant fame on reality shows (to be famous for doing absolutely nothing!) like the Kardashians of the world are deluded and just sad IMO. shrug What a culture we live in now.

I think I hate the defence and not because they are against MJ, but their idiotic repetition of questions is driving me crazy. I hate when people BS for a long time without any point.

nod His questions are all over the place and it seems he's putting the ER doctors on trial. MJ was already fucking dead when he got to the hospital so what does it matter what they did?

This shit is ridiculous. Murry needs to give it up and just go the fuck to jail. If he had any kind of human decency he would just go the fuck to jail. MJ was paying you over 100k a month and your sorry ass couldn't even sit down at his bedside and fucking watch him. Fuck You!!!!! You have no fucking defense. Go the fuck to jail, and as a California tax payer, stop wasting my fucking money you fucking futwit!

It reminds me of the mexican deposition:

"What does your collections consist of, Mr. Jackson?

MJ: Beatles, Carpenters, Stevie Wonder...blah blah blah

No, I mean what does your collection consist of?

MJ:You mean the songs that I've written?

No, what does your collection consist of?

MJ:Beatles, Carpenters, Stevie Wonder...blah blah blah

Does that collection include songs that you've written?

MJ: THAT'S WHAT I WAS ASKING YOU BEFOOOOOOOOORE!!!! Now could you repeat your question...."

Have you seen it? Mike was so pissed off. He was really annoyed, you could see it. I've never seen him that impatient and frustrated. He spent like 5 minutes making sure he named all the artist he had in his collection and that guy kept asking him that question.

The defence just got me entertained: "now I am getting lost in your answers..."

Yeah, I saw it. If I had been MJ I would have needed a valium just to get through that kind of testimony without getting pissed off and throwing sarcastic remarks at the attorney! razz lol

Yeash, exactly. I was losing patience just watching it. Can't imagine having to sit there and answer it being tired and having toothache.

Yeah, it seems like it is pretty annoying to have to sit through that. I'm getting upset for her. The defense lawyer is doing his job, but he's trying to trip her up and she's not falling for it.

It can seriously drain and debilitate a person in the best of physical and mental health. I did an internship last year for a nonprofit dealing with violations involving food and health issues. My supervisor had to fly to Washington D.C. over and over again to testify at congressional hearings involving violations of law by the dairy industry. She is normally an up-beat, vivacious, and energetic person. I watched her become a stressed-out, depressed, and tired shell of herself over the months involving this hearing. On top of family issues. It took her months to recover from the grueling experience. I can only imagine what it must have been like for MJ.

That's why it would be hard to acquit. Yeah they can blame it on Michael all they want but they have no case in trying to say that Murray was innocent. None at all.

Murray has lied and witheld infomation to revelent people already, I don't believe not one single person following this case believe Murray is innocent if anything its making him look more guilty and more quack. They need to cut this short and just throw him in jail.

Naw, they gotta go through the judicial process anyway...even if it seems like a crock. After all, Murray is entitled to due process just like any of us. razz lol

No doubt. And I say this based solely on the evidence provided in the trial, not as some demented MJ fan. Murray's defense team is doing an extremely poor job in defending their client IMO.
