Meshel Ndegeocello - Weather

I'm so loving this album. This woman just gets better and better with each album. More refined. More unique. This album kinda takes off where Devil's Halo left off, but at the same time its a little more experimental. There's really no one else in her musical space, she's kinda carved a niche for herself that only she occupies.

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

Reading the comments there I have to say that one of the things I admire the most about her is that she's not afraid to move on, even if it means alienating people who enjoyed previous sounds and styles that she reveled in. She's growing and changing as artists do.. the art/music comes first.
