Please get a life and dream about you and MJ sharing a pillow in never Neverland. How many instruments does MJ plays ? Probably only his own horn. If you think Prince is not a true musician why did Miles Davis want to play with him? Why do Santana, Lenny Kravitz and Vanessa Mae still wanna play with him ? Heal the world and deliver us from MJ and the rest of his fans. I'm gonna say this and then I'm through with this thread...FOR REAL THO!!! Miles also said in magazine articles in the 80's and in his autobiography that MJ and Princeare "two of the baddest brothers on this planet". Now think about it...Miles{The Picasso Of Jazz} is one of the most influential musicians to EVER walk this earth. Change the course of music several times in his brillant career. One of the greatest brillant musical minds the world has ever known. PLUS, Miles wasn't giving out many compliments during the 80's. Miles will tell you in a heartbeat {to yo face} that you and your music SUCKED. So for Miles {who exercised such brillant discernment in music..over his career} to give Mike these kinds of accolades and compliments...that says something in itself right there. Once again. I STATE I'm not a MJ FANATIC. It's just that you have to put the proper perspective on situations such as this. Ok I'm done now. I'm rather tired of all of the media coverage over The Gloved Wonder... Instead I'm looking forward to who's gonna win this year's American Idol showdown.. Can't we leave it at MJ gave some great music and still is going strong at being commercially successful and getting attention for himself?
Perhaps Michael's fame is getting overexposed for too long in all areas besides for music and performance, but listen to his music. Listen to his songs with his brothers, from the 80s and some songs from the 90s such as 'stranger in moscow' and then tell me how you don't classify him as being damn good, maybe even being somewhat of a genuis. I don't care about him being able to play insturments or not, what does that prove besides you being a decent to a good musician? As long as it sounds as good on the record, I am bought. Prince is a good musician but his work since the 90s for SOME part and his persona has let down many of his fans.Prince played all he liked on The Rainbow Children, but to my ear and taste, it will never ever again be played since it is boring and tiring to listen to. Who knows how his music/performance/persona will change in a couple of years? Perhaps after his death or if he releases some music that didn't make onto his other albums, we will have a real idea of how great he was/is. As long as Michael releases good- sounding music, I will continue to support him. | |
