That's the problem when someone probably has the same name as the band mate and can be easily mistaken for a legend. Sylvia Robinson was a recluse for the most part after the end of the '80s. I posted recent photos of Sylvia and the woman that is "identified" as "Sylvia the legend" don't look a like. So not an imposter at all but probably a musician with the same name. It can be easy to be misidentified especially online.

So, Vanity Fair, Wireimage, the Associated Press and at least 20 websites also mistook Paul Shaffer's guitarist Felicia Collins for the late Sylvia Robinson? I don't feel so bad now.
