Megadeth Although i highly doubt i will find hardcore Megadeth fans here on the org lol, i figure there has to be a few
Megadeth is a great band, not just in heavy metal but any music in general. They have elements of jazz in there playing which really dig especially in there Peace Sells era with Gar Samuelson & Chris Poland in the band. Who came from jazz background and gave an edge to the band. David Ellefson is a fantastic bassists & backing vocalist, Dave Mustain can outplay many of his fellow metal contemporaries . He can honestly outplay Kirk & James on guitar any day and they know that, Megadeth had some great albums and are still making good albums in fact.....

Rust in peace is a great album. Hangar 18 is the shit! I seriously want hair metal to come back full force. Not that Megadeth are hair metal but you know what I mean. Kick ass hard rock from the 80s. I love that shit. Any chance of it making a come back? Rock music seemsto be dead. | |

Yeah! love Megadeth, my personal fave is 'So Far So Good So What!' although 'Countdown To Extinction' which has a more mainstream sound is pretty awesome too, i saw them on the Clash Of The Titans tour in 91 with Suicidal Tendencies, Testament and Slayer, frikkin awesome. They have a new album TH1RT3EN out in November, should be good.

My buddy is a big Megadeth fan.
He went to some concert a couple of weeks back at Yankee Stadium with Megadeth, Anthrax, and a bunch of other Heavy Metal bands.
He even made me a "mix CD" with Megadeth songs. I listened to it once and lost interest.
Promised him I'd give it another listening-to though. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

Megadeth is a great band. Other than the "Risk" album, they have stayed true to their Thrash / Heavy Metal roots. I highly recommend Dave's book...It is a good read. I also love the fact that Dave is a born again Christian. | |
