Apart from bearing the same name as that of Toni Braxton's 2010 album Pulse, the ad for Beyonce's latest fragrance appears to borrow liberally from Toni's album cover art.

I also believe that Toni & Beyonce buy their hair weaves/extensions from the same hair salon!

It definitely seems to be very inspired by Toni's cover, although I think Beyoncé's actually nicer. It's not a bad ad imo, looks better than the former ones.

But it's funny how people always put all the blame on the celebrity, when there probably was a team behind this. I'm positive Beyoncé had a lot of input..., but the art director probably had more to to do with the look than she. Unless Bey was the art director of course...

and i bought the Toni album...and i LOVE IT!!

I swear I like Beyonce a lot but I'm NEVER even aware of her perfumes and stuff unless I see it here. People who DISLIKE her seem to love tracking down every single Beyonce product and advertisement stuff hahaha WHY?

People seem to have an obsession with proving that entertainers they don't like are unoriginal. I don't really care anymore. Everything has been done before and I'd rather just enjoy what I can rather than be jaded.

Did you ever stop to think that is because Beyonce is portrayed as being a genius or a Bob Dylan or soo original when in fact she is the exact opposite? If someone is put on a pedestal then of course people are going to try to find things that oppose that. Case in point: Beyonce. She is overrated so people just bring up facts that prove she is. Music discussion folks thats what people do.

C'mon now Beyonce is overrated. Shes promoted as being this sooo original groundbreaking artist when she isnt. Takes no rocket science to see that and she is always compared to artist that she is no where near on caliber talent wise.

Secondly, I agree this has nothing to do with music but there are plenty of threads in here besides the beyonce ones that has nothing to do with music. Once again your one tracked minded with this because you are a fan. Their are countless topics in here that are non related to music. While I get annoyed as hell at all these constant Beyonce threads I dont see why her threads should be an exception if everyone is making a bunch of threads that are non related to music.

Third, I disagree with that just because this is a perfume adverstisement it has to lack creativity or originality. And it IS possible to still be creative even in a perfume advertisement.

What, pray tell, is the criteria for creating a thread in the Music Discussion Forum? Please, enlighten me. Because if I have supposedly erred in creating it here, I will challenge the decision based on the endorsement of the Brandy Lacefront thread.

No like I said before this thread isnt about music. However, to suggest people are ONLY going to talk about a singers or artists music on a music forum is not real logical. Of course they might discuss other aspects or gossip about their personal life. When I said music discussion I was referring to music forums, topics etc they usually deviant from "music" all together sometimes. Whether the discussion is soley on MUSIC or not on a artist. Singers and artists are still associated with music which is why I still used music discussion.

I did say that and agree with that but you seem to not understand the underlining nature of WHY that is. Thats because she is a big star now and because she is overrated. So people go out of their way to find facts to prove that she is. But this is the same thing that is done to every artist here not just her. And if ur tired of all the Beyonce threads than just dont respond in them or talk it over with the Beyonce fans since they seem to make most of the threads about her here. Its not the non fans doing this lol

Singers have awful perfumes. Every single one of them. And she sounds like the ditziest when talking about them, as if no one has come up with concepts she has.
