REMEMBER Frida Lyngstad (ABBA)?

Anni-Frid Prinzessin Reuss von Plauen, often known simply as Frida, is a Norwegian-born Swedish pop singer. She was one of the four members of Swedish group ABBA. She is formally styled Her Serene Highness Princess Anni-Frid Synni Reuss of Plauen following her marriage to a German prince of the former sovereign House of Reuss in 1992.

Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad was born to Alfred Haase, was a young sergeant in the German Army who arrived in Ballangen in 1943 during World War II. Although he was already married, Haase met a pretty young Norwegian girl named Synni Lyngstad and wooed her with a bag of potatoesa rare and valuable commodity in wartime Norway.

And yes. I was an ABBA fan from the mid 70s and followed their solo careers after they called it a day. Frida included. To this day I'm still buying Benny's folk albums as he releases them smile

I always heard it stood for Knights In the Service of Satan. I'm pretty sure that's it.

She recently just celebrated her birthday. Besides the group ABBA she had one pop hit in the early 80s 'There's Something Going On'. Phil Collins played the drums on that song.

Collins actually produced the whole album as well and it was the first one that she recorded in English. Her previous albums were recorded in Swedish and one of them had a version of "Fernando" that was successful in its own right and would later be recorded by ABBA with English lyrics. For the songs that would be recorded for The Visitors album, it could be said that Frida got the more interesting songs to sing. I Let The Music Speak, When All Is Said And Done, the title track and Like An Angel Passing Through My Room which started as a dance track, but wound up being stripped down. She also sang lead on Should I Laugh Or Cry which ended up as a b-side single.
