They went hard - as usual - on this freestyle. Especially Big Moe (since this was his personal birthday tape).

It sucks that a lot of them passed on before the Houston scene really blew up in the early to mid 2000s on a national scale.

And it was the knock of Screwed Up Click at that that put Houston back on the hip-hop mad (Swisha House.) I still got love fore Swisha House but SUC was the beginning.

Big Moe hit the scene somewhat with Purple Stuff.

Yeah like most of the originals died before they got the fame. I don't know about the rest of them but I think Screw would've stayed underground. He turned down a lot of mainstream offers. That made me dig him even more.

I agree he was gonna stay underground but the mainstreem was gonna come to him. UGK and Master P were associates of Screw, they spread the word. 3 6 Mafia Sippin on Syrup.
