anyway, my mom always pointed to chee chee and peppy when she was trying to get me, my brother and our cousin interested in music. i was in kindergarten, but i sure do remember them and this song.

my mom doesn't remember them at all now, and i'm surprised that you do, mickey!

^^^One of my older relatives had this 45. I remember all sorts of forgotten and little known songs. I still have some of my kiddie records like Zoom! and Sesame Street. I've never seen the group on Soul Train though. I wasn't born yet.

I remember this song. It was a duo, of a boy/girl. They sang this on American Bandstand, years ago. Remember being jealous of Chee Chee because she had this big afro/was so pretty.
