I knew of this song as a younger child from my older siblings and father blasting it on the stereo. However I didn't get the chance to appreciate the hit until the late 80's when I went to club Zanzibar and witnessed the gay men WERK the fucking chords off of this tune! OMFG The entire club went bananas when the part comes when it speeds up......If anyone knows the typical house scene in NJ/NY you definately witness some other world dancing on this tune. There was Vogueing, runway walking, ass popping, African/Ballet movement, funk faces, DJ Tony Humphries killing the EQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
