Freddie Jackson has never really stopped recording and touring. His problem is that his material that he's recording now is no different than what he did early in his career and it's just boring. His "Transitions" album wasn't bad, just a little dull to me. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

ABBA - They can still sing and play the songs, but who wants to get back together with their ex and work with them?
Bee Gees have hinted at working on new music with their family members, but it's mostly speculation.
The Kinks - have talked about reuniting.
Bill Withers - He's still writing songs, and the documentary left it open ended.
On Eurythmics - Dave had said he still meets up with Annie, they enjoy what they've done together, but prefer getting along as friends and talking about their kids. He supports her solo career and listens to her music It's def. open ended with them, but Stewart's been pretty busy as a producer. They did get together to record and tour, and there's always a good chance of a benefit show here and there.
On Rod Stewart - in the process of working with Jeff Beck. Needed some free time. Supposedly he'll be writing for the first time in ages.
The best thing to do with Fleetwood Mac would be to get Christine back as well as Peter Green, and try to do an across the board setlist. And for the Eagles, bring back the two original guys.
The Steely Dan lineup with the original members.
The Smiths and Talking Heads
Adam and the Ants. He still sounds good, but he's as volatile as Axl.
Monkees with Nesmith for the whole tour.
Meat Loaf with the musicians who played on Bat Out Of Hell.
Oingo Boingo - one of the greatest party bands of all time, but Danny said his hearing is the reason he won't do it. Plus he makes boatloads doing soundtracks.
And Cocteau Twins.
I also heard the Beach Boys are planning on reuniting and recording new music. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing. | |
