Brides of Funkenstein's first two albums to be issued on CD I'm not sure if this was mentioned on here before but I just noticed that Funk or Walk and Never Buy Texas From a Cowboy are listed on Amazon with a release date of October 18. They will be released on Wounded Bird records. No extras.
I also noticed that the Sweat Band album was released on cd earlier this year.
Anyone know of any other P-Funk side projects that were recently re-issued? | |

Now that would be something! A song with a title like Never Buy Texas froma Cowboy can't be anything but funny! 15 minutes of it... The rest of the 2 lps are okay. Dawn Silva released a solo cd called Funky Friends some years ago. I picked it up for 1 euro... Very funky!  | |

Interesting. I see that Bernie Worrell's first album (All the Woo in the World) will be reissued on September 27th.
I've heard most of the "core" P-Funk albums but relatively few of the solo albums/spinoffs. I'll definitely be picking these up. | |
