alphastreet	If I had to choose one person's songs over the other, I think J-lo maybe. Like I said, similar styles anyway...

Considering their voices I'd go with Rihanna. Not that she's a fab singer either. Otherwise it's JLo who's the winner in my book. She's more of an entertainer though. Unlike Rihanna, she's got dancing skills and charisma, doesn't look lost on stage and is a decent actress. JLo for the win! lol

Cosign with your commentary. J-Lo may not be a great singer but she's one hell of a dancer. At least you know when J-Lo performs she'll give you a show. Rhianna I will never see in concert she lacks stage presence. Then again Im not part of her demographic. As you said J-Lo has a certain charisma that Rhianna lacks. We know Rhianna has a good team behind her (clothing hair and makeup stylists as well as top-notch producers) Im not a hater but I predict Rhianna 'pop' domain will decline before she turns 30.

J-Lo

She suffers the same fatal flaw as Jessica Simpson in that technically their singing may be ok, but they take themselves too seriously and it makes the whole thing unlistenable. Add to that, there is just something aesthetically unappealing in her tone.

Rhianna seems like she's at least relaxed and enjoying it, and it's not opera, so she does okay.
