That was hot!
And dare I say that I can hear her influence on a "sr. student" of hers that gets a lot of hate on this board. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

What Aretha Franklin can do with her voice has never been duplicated. “Transracial is a term that has long since been defined as the adoption of a child that is of a different race than the adoptive parents,” : https://thinkprogress.org...fb6e18544a

Neh, that elder chick who passed on all the great songs offered to her. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

This clip, she sings so beautifully, thanks. You know, when she sang at the inauguration, 2008, it was great, very appropriate. But I DID think about Whitney, and why she's not able to perform at that high profile level anymore, and she's half Aretha's age!

Every soul occasionally bursts that way internally. But what a gift to have someone that can write in the sky. Thanks for sharing!

Are you a writer? Do you have a blog/tumblr somewhere?

That's very kind of you! Entirely too kind!
I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed thinker/writer who at times probably appears a bit of an ass, but who gradually gets better at it.
I'm ultimately striving at developing skin that is so thick that I can truly smile at any thought, rather than letting anger cloud my judgement, while perhaps potentially doing the same for others.
I suppose at some point I'll either stop altogether (people, please stop applauding), or be so obnoxious and arrogant as to share in a more public way.
Thanks!
I strive for complete anonymity, and don't completely accomplish that either!
