Madonna Most Successful Solo touring Artist of 2000-2009 Decade

Did you know that Madonna was the most successful solo touring artist of the 2000-2009 decade?

Thanks to several massive shows, including her ‘Confessions Tour’ and ‘Sticky & Sweet Tour’, Madonna grossed over $801,299,671 in ticket sales during that period. The icon, who is currently recording a new album for 2012, was ranked in third place amongst all touring acts from 2000 to 2009, behind The Rolling Stones and U2

Yeah but I recall she signed a 360 Deal, with live nation,

so I'm not sure if she's pocketing all that cash.

I know she lost 50% of her merch licencing

still alot of cash though

^^That doesn't matter... she still gets more than the other top grossing touring acts. 800 Mio. $ total gross in 10 years... amazing!

Yeah...

I dunno about that....

50% is a huge chunk

out of something that was solely for the artist.

Sure it doesn't hurt her.

Those 800 Mio. $ don't include Merchandise. Even if she loses 50 percent of the Merchandise... Merchandise for other bands are split four or fiveways... so whatever.... Madonna comes out on top, compared to the other top grossers. And I'm sure Madonna did not make a deal that will hurt her financially!

Congrats Madonna! I wonder if she'll have a high gross this decade as well, it will be her last proper one for touring I think.

The 1991 Documentary film showed the Broadway award winner quality

and precision of her concert performances and back up dancers.

The people that attend her concerts probably have a solid certainty

that they shall get the full value of the ticket price.

This is similar to the evidence and feelings that hardcore and casual basketball fans

had in the 80s and 90s when Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls.

Even her team's performance during the Live Aid/Earth Day event was specials ops precise.
