Katt Williams freestyle (?) diss against Puffy, Jermaine Dupri and Steve Harvey

For those who followed the Katt thread on General Discussion, I kept asking "what's wrong with this fool?" See for yourself if he's high or just wanting attention.

lol Seriously something is not right in dude's water... I don't wanna straight out say he's phased out on drugs but if you see how ragged he looks, then maybe there is truth to that rumor. neutral

In the imortal words of Freddie Prinze, "Behind every joke, lies some pain". Katt, is a perfect example of this.

shrug That shit was funny as hell to me and he didn't look all that damn high either. Just wanting attention? Of course, don't they all?

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I had posted this already in SCNDLS's "Hot Mess" thread in GD.

I thought this was pretty funny, if you ask me. I think he's just sayin' shit to get noticed and not necessarily cuz he's got true beef with these dudes.

Katt's impression of the Crocodile Hunter is beyond golden. In some moments he creates art with his stand-up comedy. And clearly in other moments he is just a dick.

But Katt is not the first artist to be brilliant in their field only to pull their weiner the other 23 hours in a day. And with as much shit as people feed Puffy and Dupri on the org, this should be a winner winner chicken dinner youtube presentation.

to be honest I loved his disses @ Puffy & Dupri actually. He fell a lil flat on his Harvey diss but the JD diss line was actually pretty cool.

How did this get turned into the war of the little men? Kevin Hart can hang an ornament, but Katt is puttin' the angel on the top of that Christmas tree with his tiny ass. Or, KH is funny, but Katt can often transcend with his crushidy crush crushing jokes.

Katt can make you laugh but his latest stand-ups, if you can call it that, is a sign of someone who lost his way. Believe me, he's not the same Katt Williams.

Yes, there seem to be some unruly circumstances that have led him astray. But this happens often to comics as a natural arc without any dealer involvement. Why does the brilliant Chris Rock teabag in concert these days? Who knows?

My goal is to build a comedy empire and help restore dignity to our profession. It’s the best I ever feel when I’m on stage, putting the thoughts from my head into those of an audience. Applause is my drug of choice.”Katt Williams (from his website http://www.kattwilliams.com/biography/)

I wonder what makes comics especially those who reach legendary or superstar (or even top star) status make them lose their way after a while. Chris' last comedy special was one of his unfunniest (though he still had moments, it just wasn't as sharp to me).

Part of it is, they get complacent and lose their hunger that got them there in the first place. They feel that as long as they can make their, "true fans" laugh, that's all that matters. Little do they know despite this, they are, only as good as their last joke. What Kat did in Arizona, was not only NOT funny, it was embarrassing. For those who think it was funny, I suggest that you listen to Red Foxx or Richard, or even George Carlin. Not only were they funny but, they made one see the world as it is, without being offense.

Yeah Katt truly lost a lot of points with that. Hell he already began losing that thinking he knew Michael was guilty and shit lol but that recent performance added fuel to the fire not to mention his erratic performances where he has done nothing but pose, do pushups and, occasionally, take off his shirt and gives audience members questionairres. Like "we didn't come to hear questions, we came because we want you to make us laugh" and when you begin losing that gift, it tears you up. Katt's falling out.

Finess, was telling me that Katt once brought a gun to one of his concerts and said, "If anybody is thinking of starting some shit, I've got something for that ass". I am so tired of these wannabe, comedians thinking they can just say, anything....funny or not.

That's fucked up. I don't know if it's me but I think dude's hanging out with the wrong crowd or something. You know how they say fame changes a person? Pre-2007 or whatever I never known Katt to do shit like that. A gun? Are you kidding me? Wow.

I swore the day I heard George died, I felt like comedy hasn't been fun anymore. Carlin was one of the people that stress the truth. Now he gone and we stuck with...fucking Steve Harvey and Tracy Morgan!?
