Madge would order her army to blind a kitten with a rusty ice pick if it stared at her too long.
That being said, I will never forgive the volunteers for turning around just as she sashayed down the hallway to throw hydrangeas directly at her face. Missed opportunity.

"Neither Madonna nor her security ever gave instructions for the volunteers to turn away from Madonna. In fact she was so impressed with the volunteers that she publicly thanked them from the stage for their hard work before the premiere of her film last night which earned a standing ovation. She had a wonderful time at the festival and was especially delighted that she got to spend so much time with her fans in front of the theatre which is a famous tradition at the festival. We are still trying to figure out who and why anyone would ask the volunteers to turn away from Madonna. She was never and would never ask anyone to do that ever."--- Liz Rosenberg
She looks amazing in this dress. Not bad for an 83 year old. not bad at all. Baby, you're a star.

Sounds like bullshit, to me (especially in light of her thanking them from the stage - probably the first time ever in the festival's 36-year history a celebrity's done that).
Sounds like no one's denied they were asked to turn away, so you gotta figure it was an overzealous coordinator. |
